University freshman Si Ying (played by Song Yunhua) takes a job at the "Waiting for Someone" coffee shop, where she meets the super cool barista Absi (played by Lai Yayan), who is highly skilled in coffee brewing and can make any special coffee a customer orders, the mysterious and beautiful owner (played by Zhou Huimin) who seems to do nothing every day, and her crush - Ze Yu (played by Zhang Lianang), who likes to sit in a fixed spot and appears to constantly have girlfriends around him. The cheerful A Tuo is passionate and sincere, working various jobs to fulfill his dream of traveling around the world, which leads him to extend his studies and become a legendary senior on campus. He also meets Bo Ge (played by Li Luo), who seems like a gangster but was actually a film director, and Aunt Jin Dao (played by Lan Xinmei), the laundry shop owner with amazing cooking skills, through his jobs. Deeply impressed by Si Ying's sense of justice, A Tuo often introduces her to his interesting friends, and her life becomes colorful because of him. Si Ying has always had a crush on Ze Yu and considers A Tuo just a good friend she can talk to about anything, until A Tuo decides to leave Taiwan to pursue his dreams, when Si Ying realizes that the person she has been waiting for is not Ze Yu, but A Tuo…
