Since their farewell in Chūrō, Takahashi Nanami (played by Yuki Yoshitaka) and Yano Motoharu (played by Toma Ikuta), a deeply affectionate couple, never expected that this parting would last so long. In the early days, they exchanged timely texts, photos, and phone calls, encouraging each other. While Motoharu continued his studies, he had to secretly work to support his family, and although he made friends like Chiemizuka Akiko (played by Aimi Higashiyama), the increasingly harsh reality shattered his confidence and optimism. Gradually, he cut off contact with Nanami, as if he had vanished from her world and that of her friend Takeuchi Masafumi (played by Sōsuke Takaoka). Years passed, and Nanami, who successfully entered Tokyo, faced an important moment for employment. Yet, no matter how time flowed, her longing for that person and her search for him never stopped, which would inevitably become a burden for both Nanami and Motoharu throughout their lives... This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by author Yuki Obata and is released in two parts.
