梁志强 announced that he will start filming "New Soldiers' Story 4", planned to start in 2017, with most of the cast from the first three installments participating. 梁志强 stated in an interview: "After the warm response to 'New Soldiers' Story 3', many fans are eager for us to start filming 'New Soldiers' Story 4' as soon as possible."
