In the late Warring States period, the seven powers of Yan, Zhao, Chu, Han, Wei, Qi, and Qin emerged, with the Qin state being the most powerful, eager to conquer the six other states and unify the world. The Qin King (Chen Daoming) thus became the main enemy of the six states, and various assassination stories against him were unfolding everywhere.
