One night, Chen's father is shot dead by Suzuki Keiko. When his daughter Chen Meili wakes up, she realizes it's already five years later, and she has no memory of the past five years. All information is known only through Ah Liang. When Chen Meili unexpectedly finds a note in her pocket saying "Don't trust him," she begins to suspect Ah Liang. She pretends to hug Ah Liang to take away his gun but loses it back to him when she isn't paying attention. Quick-witted, she chooses to jump out of the window to escape, only to be caught by Ah Liang in a private residence. Suzuki Keiko warns Ah Liang to be extra careful. Suzuki Keiko arrives and shoots Wan Xiaobai, giving Ah Liang the chance to kill Chen Meili, but Ah Liang ends up killing Suzuki Keiko and Yamada Kyoko instead.
