Millionaire Wang Million (played by Stephen Chow) is killed by an ice pick. Due to his broken relationship with his wife Tang Judy (played by Anita Mui), she becomes the prime suspect. Coincidentally, Zhou Xingxing (played by Stephen Chow) looks almost identical to Wang Million, so the police ask Zhou Xingxing to impersonate Wang Million and bring Tang Judy home, hoping he can find evidence. Once Zhou Xingxing enters the Wang household, he discovers that Wang Million's friend Lin Dayue (played by Anthony Wong) is also a major suspect. Unexpectedly, Lin Dayue is also murdered. With many doubts in the case, Zhou Xingxing later finds out that Tang Judy has an ambiguous relationship with Wang Million's female secretary.
