This film is Spielberg's debut inspired by his childhood experiences, telling the coming-of-age story of the protagonist Sam Fabelman (Gabriel LaBelle). Sam fell in love with movies at a young age and attempted to create his own films. This interest received unanimous support from his artist mother Mitzi (Michelle Williams), computer engineer father Burt (Paul Dano), and other family members. If filmmaking is the art of dreaming, then the Fabelman family is a "dream house." Years later, Sam has grown into a brilliant young director, creating surprising amateur films fueled by his passion. However, unexpectedly, through the lens of the camera, he discovers a heartbreaking truth about his mother. This revelation will change the future of him and his entire family.
