A 35-year-old woman, Momoko Ohmori (played by Anzu Suzuki), who has experienced a failed marriage, currently serves as the manager of a glasses shop in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture. One day, she is dragged to a matchmaking event by her junior, Sakura Miyauchi (played by Rina Takeda), who admires her. Due to her experience of a failed marriage, she is disinterested. However, at the event, she meets a man in his 40s named Goro Sakuma (played by Goshi Uekaji), whose scruffy appearance surprises Momoko and brings back distant memories. Sakuma is an archaeologist, and it seems that Momoko has dreamed of traversing the ancient primordial forest during her sleep. She shares the childhood dreams that have troubled her since she was young with Sakuma, who then shows her relics from the Jomon period. The long-lost memories seem to bridge across time and space... This film is adapted from Akio Morisawa's novel of the same name and was simultaneously released on 33 screens across Japan, ranking sixth in audience satisfaction in its opening week.
