Ko Wan-sun (played by Li Yao-zhang) and Bai Chan (played by Yao Le-yi) were a loving couple, but Chan vanished after an accident, leaving Sun despondent. With the comfort and encouragement of Jia Wah (played by Qian Jia-le) and Bao Ling (played by Guan Bao-hui), Sun quickly recovered and developed a relationship with Bao Ling. Seven years later, urged by his mother (played by Luo Lan), Sun plans to marry Ling. Coincidentally, Chan, who has been missing for years, suddenly appears before Sun's mother, who faints, believing she has seen a ghost. Later, Chan explains to Sun’s mother that she had amnesia from the accident and has just regained her memory. Upset about her husband’s impending marriage after years of separation, Chan feels a surge of emotions, but Sun does not want to give up on Ling, who has waited for him for seven years. The two women compete for one man, and Sun is at a loss. Ultimately, Sun's mother comes up with a plan for Chan to dress up as a ghost to scare Ling away, hoping to break Ling's heart. Ling is terrified by Chan's "ghost" and seeks help from monks and priests. Seeing Ling suffer, Sun cannot bear it and reveals the truth of the situation. After that, Ling and Chan become enemies. To sow discord between Sun and Chan, Ling stirs up trouble, and Sun gradually begins to suspect that Chan may have had a close male friend during her disappearance. Through various hints, he discovers that Chan had been with Ming (played by Zhang Da-ming) during her amnesia. The relationships between the two men and two women become increasingly complicated due to mistaken fates.
