Synopsis: This film is divided into three short stories: (1) New Year's Eve: Jingran discovers that her husband Weili is having an affair with her friend Angie, causing her distress. Weili pretends to be affectionate in public, but neglects her behind her back. On New Year's Eve, Jingran dresses up and is approached by admirers, but she decides to go home and wait for Weili. Jingran mistakenly gets into a thief's car and is taken hostage during a robbery. At midnight, Weili has not returned. Jingran engages with the thief as an act of revenge. (2) Past Grievances: Dongdong often gets jealous and does not allow Jiming to see his work partner Lindy. Dongdong demands to marry Jiming, but he is reluctant. The next day, Dongdong moves out. Dongdong misunderstands that Jiming has an affair with Lindy and leaves in anger. Lindy begins living with Jiming, but Jiming realizes that he loves Dongdong the most. While searching for Dongdong at the airport, Jiming is charged with speeding, and Dongdong appears to bail him out, leading to their marriage. (3) Pact: Anguo and Wei return to Hong Kong to get married. Guo visits his old home and sees his deceased fiancée Shen Xiangyu, who demands that Guo fulfill his pact. Wei suspects something is wrong with Guo, believing that Yu's ghost is at work. Yu wants to kill Wei, but Guo intervenes and recalls his promise never to marry again in this life. Therefore, he leaves Wei and drives off the cliff with Yu.
