"Youthful Glory" is a biographical film telling the story of renowned Italian poet and philosopher Giacomo Leopardi, portrayed by Cannes Best Actor winner, Italian star Elio Germano. Leopardi was born in 1798 in a small town and is regarded as one of Italy's greatest poets, second only to Dante. Despite his humble beginnings, even his early works raised crucial questions about his time, reflecting the influence of the Enlightenment and foreshadowing Nietzsche's nihilism in many ways.Leopardi was a child prodigy, mastering several ancient and modern languages at a young age, and wrote "Poems" by the age of 20, but he tragically passed away at 38 due to illness.
