In 1932, Japanese imperialism invaded Northeast China, supporting the puppet emperor Puyi in establishing the puppet state of Manchukuo, and implementing a system of indoctrination throughout the region. Qinghe Boys' High School, located within Manchukuo, brought together Japanese and Chinese students, fostering national resentment and leading to frequent fights between delinquent youths from both sides. Prior to this, Qinghe Boys' High School had been dominated by a faction of Japanese students led by Shibata (played by Kento Yamazaki), while Chinese students were preoccupied with internal conflicts, until a man named Jinghao (played by Ou Hao) appeared, finally presenting a challenge to the Japanese students. With the arrival of Jinghao's strategist, Tan Jiamu, the conflicts between the two groups were completely reconciled, bringing much-needed peace to the hormone-fueled boys' school. One day, however, the female teacher Liu He (played by Jing Tian) arrived, once again breaking the peace at Qinghe Boys' High School...
