Luban (played by Wei Heling) was passing through a certain area in Sichuan when he saw a large stone bridge under construction. However, according to Master Zhao's design, the bridge could not close properly. To solve this problem, Luban chiseled out a large stone and gifted it to a poor girl named Cui'er as her dowry. Cui'er placed this stone at a crucial point in the bridge, successfully resolving the issue of the bridge's closure and also alleviating her worries about the dowry. While constructing a ancestral hall in Jiangnan, Luban faced a shortage of materials. He cleverly used methods like "Luban's beam lifting" and "earthen mound pavilion," successfully building the ancestral hall with limited resources. The emperor demanded the construction of four corner towers of palace cities but set extremely strict requirements that many masters could not fulfill. After seven masters were executed, the task fell to Master Li, who was also at a loss. Luban devised a clever solution, instructing a girl named Qiao'er to fashion a cricket cage from wheat straw according to his design, which inspired Master Li, ultimately leading to the successful completion of the corner tower.
