The 888 Night Market, which gathers various Taiwanese delicacies, is filled with a warm and positive atmosphere every day. A-Ju Steak, Man-Mei Chicken Cutlet, Guo-Ping (played by Zhao Zhengping), and Mei-Xiang at the service desk continue to provide delicious snacks for tourists coming from all directions. Ah-Hua (played by Lan Zhenglong), well-known in the night market, has recently been elected as the chairperson of the night market's self-governing body, and from then on, he and his younger brother Ah-Qi resolve disputes in the night market and protect the interests of vendors. Female journalist Lin Yi-Nan (played by Ke Jia-Yan) clashes with Ah-Qi near the night market, and when Ah-Hua sees Lin Yi-Nan, his hidden feelings are unconsciously awakened. However, Lin Yi-Nan's life soon falls into a series of chaos, with harsh criticism from her leader, a breakup with her boyfriend, and being punished with community service at the 888 for damaging the electrical circuit. Ah-Hua and the vendors' warm actions gradually ease Lin Yi-Nan's loneliness in a foreign land, and their relationship becomes less tense.
