This series is a remake of the British series of the same name from 50 years ago (the original series was adapted from a novel and has up to 15 derivative films). In the remake, the suave international thief Simon Templar (Adam Rayner) considers himself the "modern Robin Hood" — he specializes in stealing from wealthy criminals and always manages to evade both the law and underworld pursuits. As a super spy skilled in disguise, martial arts, espionage, and various weapons, and possessing excellent eloquence, this British gentleman is recruited by a government agency to undertake a secret mission, but the local law enforcement holds a deep-seated grudge against him.
