Alien Daniel (played by Alex Pettyfer) and other children sharing his fate escape to Earth to avoid being hunted by the Mogadorians invading their planet. For years, Daniel has been sensing the deaths of his companions, and to survive, he lives a life of exile accompanied by his protector, Henry. In Paradise Town, Daniel meets beautiful girl Sarah (played by Dianna Agron) and befriends the timid yet alien-obsessed Sam (played by Callan McAuliffe). The terrifying Mogadorians eventually track down Daniel, and this time, he chooses not to run; he decides to use his gradually growing superpowers to defeat the enemy. However, overcoming the powerful Mogadorians is not easy... This film is based on the first part of a comic book series and is produced by Michael Bay, director of the "Transformers" series.
