Dean (played by Will Smith) is a successful African American attorney enjoying a beautiful family life and a bright future. On Christmas Eve, Dean encounters a long-lost friend. From that moment on, Dean's life undergoes a dramatic change. It turns out this friend placed a disc in Dean's bag that recorded the entire process of a high-ranking official murdering a congressman!
