The story takes place in an ancient kingdom with a rich history, where the evil sorcerer Galbatorix (played by Ray Liotta) sets his sights on this peaceful land. Leading his minions, they massacre villages, killing farmer Damon’s (played by Jason Statham) child and abducting his wife, Solana (played by Claire Forlani). In his anger and despair, Damon vows to take revenge and reclaim his wife. With the help of King Conrad (played by Burt Reynolds) and the good wizard Morhange (played by John Rhys-Davies), Damon assembles a skilled and determined death squad. However, the enemies they face are not just bloodthirsty and brutal beast troops; they must resist an even more evil, darker, and more powerful dark magic.
