At the turn of the century in 1899, European countries were experiencing a rare period of peace. However, a newly emerged evil force, orchestrated by its leader "The Phantom," used advanced weapons unheard of at the time to sow misunderstandings and frictions among nations, aiming to ignite the flames of a world war. The British government invited the legendary adventurer Allan Quatermain (played by Sean Connery), who was in seclusion in Africa, to resolve this crisis. Although Allan was weary of adventure, he could not bear to see the African continent plunged into war, so he formed a gentlemen's alliance with the vampire Mina, Dr. Jekyll, the Invisible Man Skinner, the ageless and handsome Dorian Gray, Captain Nemo, and American agent Tom Sawyer.
