Tom (Liam Neeson) was once a notorious robber, committing numerous major crimes while remaining at large. Later, he meets a woman named Annie (Kate Walsh), whose beauty and kindness cause Tom to fall in love, willing to give up his promising criminal career for her. Not only that, he also attempts to atone for his sins by returning the stolen money. FBI detectives Nivens (Jai Courtney) and Hall (Anthony Ramos) are ordered to recover $7 million in stolen funds from Tom.
