Ten thousand years ago in the Americas, the Akani civilization flourished. The Akani believed that the world was divided into two realms: light and darkness, connected by gates. It was recorded that the Akani opened the gates between these two worlds, allowing some demons to wreak havoc on Earth, after which the Akani mysteriously vanished. In the 1960s, the government established a supernatural research division, Bureau 713, and appointed Dr. Lionel Harkins (played by Matthew Walker) to investigate the Akani civilization, but his research was later discredited. Harkins hid on a small island, conducting cruel secret experiments on children, merging them with demons. At the start of the 21st century, there were consecutive cases of missing children, and supernatural investigator Edward Carby (played by Christian Slater) was assigned to the island for investigation. However, as soon as he arrived at the airport, he was attacked by mysterious figures. This foretold a perilous journey ahead...
