In the IPSC practical shooting competition, Officer Zhuang Ziwei (played by Daniel Wu) breaks the competition record, but the new record is quickly rewritten by Hong Kong fund manager Kwan Yaubo (played by Louis Koo), who wins first place. After the competition, Kwan Yaubo encounters masked robbers attempting to rob an armored car, and the cash courier is killed by the robbers. At that moment, a traffic police officer (played by Lin Gengxin) passes by and is injured by the robbers. To save him, Kwan Yaubo kills four robbers and calls the police. Another robber flees, and at the same time, a bond worth $400 million is stolen. The traffic officer is saved, and he is cared for by Kwan Yaubo's girlfriend (played by Charlene Choi).
