Jack Conrad (played by Stone Cold Steve Austin) was originally a death row inmate in a prison in the Midwest of the United States. Just as he was about to face the electric chair, he was sold by a corrupt prison warden to a television station. The producer of the station planned a new show, selecting 10 muscular, agile, and brutal death row inmates from around the world, placing them on a deserted island where they would kill each other. Only those who can eliminate their opponents and survive for 30 hours would have a chance of escape.
