They fight side by side, sharing both joy and hardship, and have formed deep friendships with one another. One day, they dismantled a drug den but allowed the drug lord to escape. Later, the drug lord killed Brother Long, and the rest vowed to find the drug lord to avenge him. One day, Ayou (played by Jacky Cheung) accidentally discovered that Uncle Da was colluding with the drug dealers and recorded a video as evidence. Ayou informed his trusted friend A-Dan (played by Donnie Yen) and Old Wang about this, but to his surprise, Old Wang and Uncle Da were in cahoots. In order to eliminate the evidence, Old Wang killed A-Dan and framed Ayou. Ayou's girlfriend Amei (played by Wen Bixia) discovered the deadly videotape and, in an effort to save Ayou, she was also killed by Old Wang, which exposed the deeply hidden flaws of Old Wang.
