Tenth Work Traveling through the desolate northern country, Sleepy Mad Samurai (Raizō Ichikawa) witnesses a group attacking a samurai and stealing a secret letter, leading him to become embroiled in a family feud within the Saeki clan, where the chief retainer, Inada Gaki (Toru Abe), and Dojo Masanori (Eitaro Ozawa) are in conflict. Misunderstood as having stolen the secret letter by Gaki's faction, he is perceived as part of Gaki's group by Masanori's faction.
