Zhang Jiale (played by Wu Wenchao) is a wealthy young master born with a silver spoon, living a life of luxury since childhood without experiencing any hardships. After studying abroad, he returns to his hometown, but frequent intense arguments arise between him and his father due to differing views on the future. Their poor parent-child relationship causes Zhang Jiale to gradually give up on his dreams, feeling increasingly dejected day by day. In response, his desperate father decides to send him to a remote mountainous area to teach at a primary school, hoping he will find the meaning of life again through this experience. Thus, Zhang Jiale moves from a bustling city with everything to a remote, impoverished mountain area, where he meets a young girl named Xiaoyulian (played by Yan Dantong).
