The story tells of Seymour, who, after obtaining a strange plant that feeds on human blood, goes to great lengths, even sacrificing himself, to win the favor of customers and the heart of a beautiful girl. However, as he gains fame and fortune, he discovers that he can no longer control the growth of this peculiar plant, and his life is in danger. Caught between conscience and fame, Seymour finally awakens to the reality, leading to a battle between good and evil. Due to its musical roots, the film is unlikely to become a mainstream work and is somewhat inferior to traditional musicals. Its uniqueness lies in the charming film special effects and lighthearted musical interludes, making it still a delightful piece overall.
