In the late Ming Dynasty, the emperor was foolish, and Prince Qing colluded with others to plot a rebellion. National Protector Spy Luo Bing obtained crucial evidence but was killed in an ambush, gravely wounded and saved by Mei Xiang and her son Mei You Ling. Mei Xiang died saving Luo Bing.
