The story follows a human boy, Mowgli, who is raised by a pack of wolves in an Indian jungle. Under the guardianship of Baloo the bear and Bagheera the black panther, Mowgli learns the harsh laws of the jungle and ultimately becomes accepted as one of the animals. However, he still has to face the terrifying tiger Shere Khan, and his human origins pose a significant threat in the jungle.
