There is a strange rumor circulating in the city. Some homeless people sneak into others' homes, hide themselves, and continue to live there... 张家伟 (played by 霍建华) is the owner of a coffee shop, living with his wife and daughter in a high-end community. They live a prosperous life, and the family is harmonious; however, he suffers from severe obsessive-compulsive disorder and cleanliness issues, tormenting him with psychological distress. One day, he receives a call inquiring about his missing brother, which makes him anxious. In an unsuccessful search for his brother at an old apartment, he meets 苏红 (played by 秦海璐), who lives on the same floor as his brother. 苏红 shows unusual panic and disgust towards 张家伟’s brother, making the disappearance case more puzzling.
