The film describes the story of Tang Renjie and his brother Tang Renlin, who are respectively the adopted son and the trusted subordinate of the gang leader Shen Tianhong. In a conflict with another gang leader, Liao Shouyi, both sides suffer fatal losses. Renjie voluntarily takes the blame for his brother Renlin and Gan Wenbin, fleeing to Jiangnan. However, Wenbin and Renlin repeatedly send assassins to harm him and scheme to seize all of Shen's wealth. With the help of a Jiangnan rogue, Renjie finally kills his brother and Wenbin, both of whom succumb to their injuries.
