This film is a work by director Lo Wei from "Million Directors", starring Cheng Pei-pei from "Golden Swallow" and Yue Hua from "The Drunk Hero". The story describes that in the fourth year of the Jianwen period of the Ming Dynasty, the Yan king colludes with eunuchs to usurp the throne, leading to the "Jingnan Campaign" that destroys Nanjing. It is rumored that Emperor Jianwen perished in a sea of fire, and the whereabouts of the crown prince and the imperial seal are unknown; Emperor Yongle sends people to investigate and learns that the crown prince is hiding in the Black Dragon Society led by martial hero Shangguan Hao (Lo Wei).
