Ah Mei (played by 温碧霞) inadvertently becomes a witness to a jewelry robbery. The head of the pickpocket gang, Roy (played by 张耀扬), takes advantage of the chaos to slip a priceless diamond necklace into Ah Mei's bag. At this critical moment, Ah Mei learns that her boyfriend has been kidnapped by gangsters in Yangon, Myanmar, who demand a ransom of $200,000 within three days; otherwise, her boyfriend's life will be at risk. Ah Mei decides to make use of the diamond necklace. On the other hand, the owner of the diamond necklace has found Roy and orders him to locate the necklace within five days. Thus, Ah Mei and Roy find themselves on the same flight to Yangon. Unexpectedly, the plane encounters a storm mid-flight and the group is forced to land in Mandalay, where a chaotic civil war is ongoing. While facing gunfire, can they safely reach their destination?
