"Blue Sky and White Clouds" tells the story of a mysterious murder case. A middle school student, Connie (played by Leung Yong Ting), is born with a heart defect and has few friends. Planning to murder her parents but aware of her frailty, she decides to drag her classmate Eric (played by Gu Ding Xuan) into the plot, and they become accomplices. After the parricide, Connie shows no remorse, and the case is taken over by female detective Angela (played by Tang Lai Xin) from the serious crimes unit. Recently married Angela lives with her father (played by Huang Shu Tang), who suffers from dementia, and her husband Tony (played by Li Ren Shen). Although Angela appears to have a happy family with her recent pregnancy, she finds her emotions increasingly affected by the case, gradually beginning to understand why Connie chose this irreversible path…
