The theater director is rehearsing the flamenco dance version of "Salomé" with the dancers, coordinating and discussing. Finally, this deadly extraordinary dance is performed. The beautiful and seductive girl Salomé (played by Aída Gómez) has a mother, Herodias (played by Carmen Villena), who was originally the sister-in-law of King Herod (played by Paco Mora) and remarried him after killing her husband. John the Baptist (played by Javier Toca) condemned her for this, and Herodias held a grudge. John the Baptist tried to stop this marriage but was imprisoned by King Herod. Awakened by her feelings, Salomé dances a devoted love dance before John the Baptist, only to be rejected. Encouraged by Herodias, Salomé performs a seductive dance with seven veils before King Herod, who is delighted and agrees to fulfill all of Salomé's requests. Salomé calmly says, "Please bring me the head of John the Baptist on a platter." This film is adapted from the renowned 19th-century play "Salomé" by British playwright Oscar Wilde, portraying the entangled and twisted romantic crisis from the New Testament of the Bible, endlessly dancing amidst exquisite and highly formal visuals and lighting until death.
