The story takes place in early spring in Macau. In his 40s, divorced, and not good with words, Mada (played by Zhang Jichong) lives in an old house slated for demolition. He suffers from severe insomnia and, unable to sleep, drives a taxi at night to ease his sleeplessness. One night, Mada picks up Lenna (played by Zhou Xiuna), who works as a hostess at a restaurant during the day and a beer girl at night.
