Terrence Malick will once again direct a WWII-themed film following 1998's "The Thin Red Line." The new film is based on true historical events, telling the story of Austrian soldier Franz Jägerstätter (played by August Diehl) who was sentenced to death for refusing to fight for Nazi Germany during World War II. It is said that this will be a very different WWII film in style compared to "The Thin Red Line."
