Starring Marlon Brando and Sophia Loren, it tells the story of an American billionaire returning to the U.S. on a cruise. While passing through Hong Kong, a destitute White Russian countess sneaks into his room, intending to stow away to America. However, she is discovered by the billionaire, and after some discussion, they both fall in love. This is the final film by comedy master Charlie Chaplin and his only color film. Although it does not measure up to his classic works, it still maintains a high level of comedic effect and shows a bit of humanity. Unfortunately, the choice of the lead actors detracts from the film's appeal.
