Shui Jinghui (played by Anthony Wong) and his columnist wife, A-Zhi (played by Gigi Leung), originally planned to travel to Japan during their holiday. However, A-Zhi's mother (played by Roland) and younger sister Ah-Fen (played by Zhang Yuxuan) in Yuen Long have recently been harassed by developers, so Hui reluctantly follows A-Zhi to Yuen Long to guard his mother-in-law's old house. Upon their arrival, a wandering Feng Shui master warns the couple that the house has Feng Shui issues and claims it is extremely dangerous, predicting disasters within seven days. Hui does not take it seriously. On their first night, Hui encounters bad guys trying to scare off residents for the developers, and he also meets a crying girl in the courtyard.
