Ah Hu is a free-fighting boxer (played by Andy Lau). He participates in a competition in Thailand representing Hong Kong with the mentality of "throwing a match," completely unconcerned about winning. In Thailand, Ah Hu meets a female photographer named Ah Ping, and they develop feelings for each other. During the competition, Ah Hu, disinterested in fighting, withdraws midway, and his opponent, taking advantage of the situation, provokes him.
