After the death of his new companion, Old Ge (played by Xu Haishan) finds himself in an awkward situation at the homes of his non-biological children, and his relationship with his son (played by Han Tongsheng) remains strained. In desperation, Old Ge makes his way to Guanshan Nursing Home to find his old friend, Old Zhou (played by Wu Tianming), who once worked with him. Old Zhou is enthusiastic and outgoing, regularly organizing various cultural and sports activities for the elderly residents. In order to realize their final values in life, this group of old friends resolutely decides to rehearse a performance to compete in Tianjin. However, aging and illness make it difficult for the director (played by Yan Bingyan) to give the green light, and an unexpected accident prompts her to ban their performance altogether.
