When internationally renowned painter Mo Ke (played by Zheng Xiaodong) announced that he would donate the entire sum gained from the sale of his oil painting "Falling Feathers" to the small southwestern town of Mengmian, his colleagues were filled with curiosity and confusion. Twenty years ago, when the unknown painter Mo Ke passed through Mengmian, he was not only attracted by the local beautiful scenery but also fell in love with a beautiful girl named Zheng Suo (played by Liu Xiaoxiao), who had a peacock feather in her hair...
