The film consists of two short stories.   The story takes place in Montreal, where Anthony (played by Kevin Parent) is a DJ whose career is thriving, while his love life is a mess. Rose (played by Evelyne Brochu) is Anthony's new lover, but he is still entangled with his ex, Caroline (played by Hélène Florent). Every day, Anthony feels like he is walking on a tightrope, with the endless abyss waiting for him if he slips.   The scene shifts to Paris in 1969, where Jacqueline (played by Vanessa Paradis) lives with her son who has Down syndrome. For a long time, Jacqueline has sacrificed everything, hoping her son could have a short but happy life. However, for Jacqueline's son, the world his mother has built is no longer enough to satisfy his curiosity and thirst for knowledge; he yearns for the real world outside.
