The story takes place during the Iran-Iraq War, where Shideh (played by Narges Rashidi), a mother with a family, longs to return to university to complete her studies. However, historical issues shatter her academic dreams. Her husband Iraj (played by Bobby Naderi) is a successful doctor who recently received a conscription notice, which further unsettles the already troubled Shideh. After an unpleasant argument, the family of three bids a sorrowful farewell. Their young daughter Dorsa (played by Avin Manshadi) struggles to sleep at night, haunted by terrifying stories of giants she heard from her friends, constantly fearing disasters. As the war draws closer to their doorstep, death looms over the lonely mother and daughter, and supernatural occurrences begin to unfold in their unstable home...
