The film takes place in a dark forest where a gigantic mythical beast called The Spirit Beast has lived for ages. It can appear both in water and on land. If people coexist harmoniously with it, it will bring auspiciousness and peace to the area. However, no one is allowed to reveal this secret, nor can outsiders see it. If someone does see it, they must not tell anyone. Otherwise, they will face the beast's revenge. Five unwitting urban youths arrive here simultaneously, breaking this ancient rule. Terrifying retribution unfolds one by one, and no one can escape the curse... Regarding the cast, the director initially considered Hong Kong actor Anthony Wong, but due to scheduling conflicts, he chose another A-list star, Yip Tung, paired with mainland singer Red Bean.
