Master of cheating Qian Wendi (played by Andy Lau) collaborates with his girlfriend Lily (played by Hong Kong actress Christy Chung) and friend "Golden Finger" A-Zhi to win six million Hong Kong dollars from wealthy Liu Yaozu in a gambling match. Enraged upon discovering he has been deceived, Liu Yaozu kidnaps A-Zhi and coerces Wendi to go to prison for him, so he can reclaim Liu's three hundred million assets from inmate Rubin Sun (played by Kwan Hoi-San).
