Old Thorgeir has to leave his old home in the Icelandic countryside to live in a retirement home in Reykjavik. There, he meets his childhood friend Stella. Before long, Thorgeir grows tired of life there, so he teams up with Stella to steal a jeep, and the two escape to Stella's old home in northwest Iceland. The film poses a serious question: When you have to give up everything meaningful in life, is life still important to you?
