The film tells the emotional journey of the famous French writer George Sand and the most renowned Polish composer Chopin, from falling in love to experiencing emotional rifts, and ultimately breaking up. The film interweaves two additional storylines: George Sand's son Maurice is a talentless painter who is extremely jealous of the love his mother gives to Chopin and Chopin's talent. He tries every means to sabotage the love between his mother and Chopin. At the same time, George Sand's daughter has also fallen madly in love with her mother's lover and is determined to take Chopin away from her mother at any cost. Passion, love, jealousy, compromise... weave together a beautiful, magnificent, and moving emotional story.
