The film "All the Money in the World" is based on a kidnapping case that shocked the world: the grandson of the world's richest man, Paul Getty (played by Christopher Plummer), is kidnapped by the mafia. The kidnappers demand a ransom of $17 million from his mother, Gail (played by Michelle Williams). Unable to pay this exorbitant ransom after divorcing her husband, Gail seeks help from the Getty family. However, the excessively wealthy yet miserly old Getty refuses to pay the ransom for his grandson (played by Charlie Plummer). Unable to secure the money, the kidnappers cruelly cut off the hostage’s ear and send it to the Getty family. Heartbroken Gail, with the assistance of former CIA agent Fletcher Chase (played by Mark Wahlberg), attempts to break this deadlock to rescue her son...
