The story takes place in a remote mountain town in the 1980s. The outstanding teacher Miao Wanqiu (played by Yu Qian) at Nanshu No. 1 High School is ambitious and welcomes a new batch of high school students. On the first day of school, the domineering Teacher Miao gives this group of rebellious and problem-prone students a reality check.
